We're pleased to announce the latest release, of 389 Directory Server on our Access and Identity Management Channel.

Highlights of this release include:

  • Plug-in Transaction Support
  • Normalized DN Cache
  • Configurable Allowed SASL Mechanisms
  • SASL Mapping Improvements
  • Configurable SASL Buffer
  • Replication Retry Settings
  • Instance Script Improvements
  • Access Log Analyzer Improvements
  • Performance improvements

We offer a fully managed platform to update, configure, and monitor 389 Directory Server installations.  We use OpsCode/Chef and our Zenoss/ZenPacks.lbn.LDAPMonitor systems to do this.  Please do talk to us about these offerings, either as our managed service or to install and operate within your own datacentre.

We also have an automated suite to migration OpenLDAP systems to 389 Directory Server.  We have an article about this here.
